District III October Meeting

The District III Meeting will be held on Sunday, October 18, 2026, at VFW Post 5076. Post 5076 is located at 2180 Meridian Way, Garland, TX, 75040. The telephone number is 972-278-2858. Ben Lowrance, State Quartermaster/Adjutant, will be the State Representative. The District III Meeting will begin at 8:30 am with the Post Commanders’ Call. There will be a joint meeting with the Auxiliary at 9am, and then business meetings 9:30am. Lunch will be served at 11 noon. Cost of lunch will be $10.
The remaining VFW District III meetings will begin at 9am. All remaining events will be held at:
December 13, 2026, at Post 7843.
February 20, 2027, at Post 3530.
April 11, 2027, at Post 6796 for the Joint VFW & Auxiliary District III Memorial, Meeting and Convention, Joint Installation (Blues & Grays).
May 23, 2027, Joint District III Awards and Homecoming Dinner at Post 8785.
Members should dress appropriately for the District Meetings. Common sense dictates here. For this and all other meetings, Post and District officers should wear VFW covers and District III shirts.
